A little love note from one of our customers: Heather from California!
“Hi there! I just wanted to send you an email to let you know how GREAT your product is! I recently purchased the iPhone 4, and knew right away that I wanted a case for it. I ended up buying a really expensive case offline, and within two days, I dropped the phone and the case cracked and broke into several pieces. I was so mad, so I went to TJ Maxx to see if I could find a cheap one there. I found an iFrogz case for $7.99 – a cute purple case with the rubber protector on the bottom, in case I dropped it. I figured since it was only $7.99, it wouldn’t last long either, but I HAD to have a case. Yesterday, my husband picked me up from work and while I was putting my bag in the backseat, I placed my phone on top of the car! That being something I would NEVER usually do, I completely forgot it was there, and my husband and I drove along the streets of Los Angeles to find something for dinner. Once we parked at a restaurant, I realized I didn’t have my phone and then I remembered just WHERE I had left it. I looked on the roof, and to my horror, I saw the streak marks from where my brand new phone had slid off the roof. My husband and I hurried back to where he had picked me up to back track to see if we could find it. Almost an hour had gone by of diligent search and no luck! We finally took a turn, and I saw a glimmer of purple! Sure enough, it was my phone – in the middle of an intersection in LOS ANGELES!! I ran out of the car and stopped traffic to grab my phone! To my surprise, the phone was still in one piece and so was the phone cover! The only damage is the SMALLEST scratch, probably where it slammed onto the pavement. So I just wanted to say thank you so much for saving my phone, saving me money on having to buy a new phone, and for selling an outstanding phone case for a MORE than reasonable price! Truly amazing!!!!!”
Heather, we’re so pleased to have such a pleased customer!

Stevie Wonder, the twenty-two time Grammy Award winner and political activist, recently performed at a show in Echo Park, Los Angeles. During the performance, he extolled the virtues of Apple, commending Steve Jobs for creating products that allow accessibility to individuals who suffer from blindness, like himself:
“I want you all to give a hand to someone that you know whose health is very bad at this time…His company took the challenge in making his technology accessible to everyone. In the spirit of caring and moving the world forward: Steve Jobs. Because there’s nothing on the iPhone or the iPad that you can do that I can’t do. As a matter of fact, I can be talking to you, you can be looking at me, and I can be doing whatever I need to do and you don’t even know what I’m doing. Yeah!”

USA Today published a lovely article featuring our TimbrePro EarBuds! With fall in mind, they have suggestions for keeping warm, active, and fashionable:
“If the thought of plastic earbuds leaves you cold, try warming up to a pair of wooden ones from iFrogz’s Audio line. Its TimbrePro with Mic model sports a wooden speaker chamber, which not only improves the look and feel of the earbuds but also helps them deliver rich sound and deep bass. Compatible with media devices with 3.5 mm jacks, a built-in microphone and a single button that can play and pause the music when a call comes in.”

A small deviation from our usual news to give a little shout-out to our fellow Loganites:
A few caring people in Logan, Utah, are being called heroes for rushing toward flames after a crash.
A BMW hit a motorcycle and the bike slid under the car, trapping the biker under the car as the motorcycle caught fire. The entire scene was caught on video.
Many passersby leaped into action, checking on the trapped rider and eventually teaming to life the car to free him.
The biker, CBS News Correspondent Ben Tracy reported, was 21-year-old Brandon Wright. His uncle says he has only some broken bones, road rash — and some frightening memories.
Tyle Riggs, Wright’s uncle, told CBS News, “He does remember the crash happening and being under the car, spitting up blood and not being able to talk. And he said he was really scared when he wasn’t able to talk, and, at some point after they pulled him out, and they started to interact with him, he was able to speak.”
Late Tuesday, there was a posting on Brandon’s Facebook page, saying, “Thank you for all your well-wishes, prayers and support. I am still in the (Intensive Care Unit). I’d like to personally thank the brave heroes who saved my life.”
On “The Early Show,” some of those who rescued him — Sgt. Jason Olsen of the Logan City Police Department, who was the first officer on the scene, and three students from Utah State University who helped lift the car — shared what happened.
Kelsey Alder, a freshman at Utah State University, can be seen in the video checking on Wright.
She told “Early Show” co-anchor Chris Wragge, “The guy next to me told me he was breathing, so I went down to check on him. Yeah, it was pretty crazy to see him there, but like, I don’t know, I had faith he would get out of there.”
Olsen said he was, at first, concerned about the number of people crowding around the crash.
He said, “But when they had organized and it looked like their plan was going to work, you know, we wanted to get the people there, the victim out from under the car. Right after he was extracted, I was telling everybody not to crag him too far, and then got everybody away from the fire.”
And what about the fire – weren’t they afraid that the car could explode?
Abbass Al Sharif, a graduate student at the university, said he wasn’t thinking about an explosion — just helping Wright, trapped under the car.
“All I thought was, if we could just find a way to lift this car, maybe this guy would get a second chance to live, because from all the indications…it was like he had a chance. He was still breathing so that was all that pushed me to go ahead and give a helping hand.”
James Odei, also a graduate student, added, “We are just human beings helping another human being to get another chance to live. You know, we were like, very hopeful, he is still alive. So we didn’t think twice before going and helping Brandon.”
Sgt. Olsen said things could have turned out very differently.
“I can’t say enough about these people’s willingness to get involved and help us,” he said. “if they hadn’t of done that, it could have turned out very differently. And, you know, what they overcome says a lot about their wanting to help somebody out and putting themselves at risk.”

Comedic songwriters Pantless Knights are at it again with a new, tech-related tribute video honoring Steve Jobs. The video, produced by Seedwell, re-works a popular Jay-Z song “What More Can I Say” from The Black Album. Pantless Knights’ “The New Dork” also parodied a Jay-Z track, “Empire State of Mind.”
Check out the above video “We Are All Steve,” in which several different people appear in Steve Jobs’s signature look – glasses and a black turtleneck – rapping from Jobs’s perspective about his global influence and general awesomeness. The Pantless Knights don’t exclusively rap about the tech world, but this isn’t the first time they’ve donned Jobs’s garb. Way back in 2009, their spoof “I’m on a Mac” went viral and was viewed nearly 2 million times on YouTube. Watch their newest, hilarious tribute video here.
